The center provides R&D and technical support for the group’s business, conducting research in biology, agriculture, food, and health. At the research institute level, it houses seven major research institutes: Animal Microbiome, Agricultural Microbiome, Desertification and Alkali Control, Food Microbiology and Synthetic Biology, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, and Kun Leelai , focusing on microbiome research in various fields such as animals, agriculture, ecological governance, food biology, pharmaceuticals and health, and beauty, achieving comprehensive and multi-field coverage. The Genetic Engineering Institute and Synthetic Biology Institute focus on cutting-edge technology research; the strain resource bank and application database provide core resources and data support for R&D. Research institutes specializing in environmental protection, pets, and ruminants, as well as a new drug evaluation and application center and a biomanufacturing pilot plant, conduct specialized research, technology assessment, and transformation work in their respective sub-fields. The testing and experimental center and ecological agriculture experimental station ensure data accuracy and practical verification. The Data Information Center, Intellectual Property Center, Human Resources Center, and General Office provide information, intellectual property protection, human resource management, and comprehensive administrative support. The Center for International Cooperation and Technology Transfer, and the OPAP Center for Feed and Livestock Group Clients, promote international cooperation and exchange, facilitate the implementation of research results, and provide customized services to clients.
